Meeting up with an old friend
My Holga always seems like a long lost friend when I am out taking photos. Do you know how sometimes you neglect to contact your best friends often enough, but when you do, it is like you have never been apart? I kind of feel like that with my Holga.
Part of the separation is seasonal; during the warmer months, my tapwater comes out too hot to develop my b&w film at home. Part of it is financial; digital is free, film costs. Part of it is impatientence; it actually takes time to dip, dunk and scan film; much more so than with digital. Anyways, now that it is cooler, I ran a couple of rolls of film through the most craptastic camera ever.

The kid in the blue sweatshirt looks amazingly similar to my son.
Love the pigeon shot.

Love the photo of “With Joss Sticks”. Your shots with the Holga don’t seem Holga-ish at all. Excellent stuff!
